Yup, this evening we went to see the fourth of Harry Potter’s saga… The goblet of fire… Well let’s just say that it let me down in ooow so many ways… If the book was around +-500pages… then let’s say if I wrote a book about what happened in the movie I might get it down to +-100 pages… A complete piece of story cutted out? what was he thinking??? well he directed some good ones, like Donnie Brasco and stuff like that, but this one… Nope… the first three were imo better directed (like I know…) Directed by Columbus… And it appears that the next movie will also be directed by someone else… wonder what he’s going to cut out… like say page 200 till 350???
Naaah truly, I was a bit disappointed when I left the theatre… There something like RTFM (which stands for Read The Fucking Manual), now in this case you might wanna RTFB before you go see this movie… (Read The Fucking Book)…
You just get rushed over the movie like it was no biggie all these things happened, spending only e.g. 5min over something that took 2 chapters in the book (makes no sense if you ask me) … The tagline of this movie : “Difficult times lie ahead, Harry.” Well in this case yeah, if you haven’t read the book, difficult times surely lay ahead as you don’t have a freakin clue what’s it all about… Well you might be entertained and stuff like that, you might grab a bit of the storyline, but hey… it goes waaay deeper then this movie’s showing you… So… At the end of the evening I felt disappointed – rebuilding the TOTAL storyline – adding my own recollections of the book to the movie… I don’t think it’s supposed to go that way… -sigh-
Anywayz, some fun things to know?
- Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) played in the late 90’s on TV as Young David Copperfield… 
- The true prof. Dumbledore (the one from the first two movies) passed away on 25th of octobre 2002 (hodgkin’s disease)… RiP… The new one isn’t doing such a great job imo… And it appears to me their still looking for a new one in the next movie… My suggestion? All in favor say HOO!!!

Last weekend we also rented this movie… White Noise… We wanted something scary etc etc… As I wanted to see this movie while it was still out there in theatres, I’m glad I didn’t… Owkey I somewhat believed in EVP… but now… bleh…
Anywayz, the movie didn’t satisfy my needs… it wasn’t scary or thrilling at all… my girl fell asleep after 15mins… well she does that with almost every movie but whatever… stupid ending… stupid movie… blah… btw look what Rotten gave it….

Introducing my new category… whatsina?

The meaning behind all this is pretty simple… sometimes something pops up in my mind and I get eager to know more about it… why, what, who… etc etc… for some stewpid example… how about temperature? measured by?
you see… when I remember myself why I wanted to write these kind of articles, then I’ll fix them to something decent… as for now… I’m still in a blur as I don’t recall why I wanted a whatsina? hehe…

introducing another new category… rentals… as lately it has become pretty difficult to me to pick a decent movie in our local rent-a-movie-theque… well here it is… reviews of the new-rentals…
Charlie and the chocolatefactory… a movie of which I had high expectations… cuz of these three facts; first:Tim Burton… the man’s sublime… second: Depp… gotta be a fan… third: Roald Dahl…
These three nice ingredients promised a pretty good movie to me… But… imo it was a lil bit over the top… especially the singing parts… expected more laughing material… at the end, it was nothing of what I expected… entertaining; yes if ur a 10year old… maybe I should’ve read the book first? maybe I shouldn’t… who knows… well… I didn’t… and maybe for that reason the movie let me down a bit… I dunno… expected MORE… well whatever… seen it…

Last sunday was 21st bday… And I got this SOOO big surprise from my girl and almost everyone knew… only I didn’t… DuH…
Saturday at 4.30am she wakes me up etc etc… get into the car blindfolded etc etc… I was like: Blah, what’s new?
Only to arrive at Brxls airport **minutes later… then I was like: WHAT TEH? omg this was really happening…
A citytrip to Barcelona… Damned… planned almost three months ago…
Saturday was drop-dead-day; as we fell asleep at like 7pm… 
Sunday was culture day… With Gaudi as our main course…
Monday was shopping time… spend waay too much money…
And then at last tuesday… Which was quite horrible in a gastronomic kind of way…
And between all those things there was rain… too much if you ask me… but at the end we had pretty good weather considering the temperature, 20°C, and when arriving back here getting plunged into 8°C… frrreezing…
Anywayz, took a LOT of pictures (+-250)going to filter them out asap, put some on the web too…
At the end of the day, I think I can say that I had quite a GREAT bday… something I’ll never forget… starts singing: uuunforgettable……

He seemed to have had some troubles with my popup-images… as he’s an Opera-user, some thingies need to be more OPEN or whatever… well he fixed it… adapting another script to my needs… the only thing that’s a lil bit bothering me is the fact that it doesn’t automaticly window-close anymore… the previous script had that one integrated…
